Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer is to embark on a radical shake-up of its client relations with the introduction of single global contact partners for major clients, while also re-launching its sector focus across the firm.
For a number of years, the magic circle firm has had, in the UK, a system of lead partners for clients, which management feels encourages accountability for key relationships. The drive to roll out the concept of lead partners across the whole firm, and Germany in particular, is being led by joint senior partner Christian Wilde.
