National giant Eversheds is set to introduce performance-related pay as the firm enters the final stages of its long-running national integration process at the end of the month.

The firm is bringing in a national five-year lockstep for this year, which replaces the varying equity structures within the firm, as an interim measure.
The lockstep works on a ratio of 2:1, translating roughly into an entry level of £155,000 per partner, with top partners drawing £310,000.
