Argument against the idea of common training

The policy of the Bar Council on common vocational training was set out in a resolution of the council in June 1994.
In this resolution, the council accepted the principle that there should be an element of common vocational training for prospective barristers and solicitors if and to the extent that this is compatible with vocational training for the independent Bar.
