Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison’s former China managing partner, Jeanette Chan, will leave the firm after three decades to join a Hong Kong-based fintech company.
A Hong Kong partner specialising in cross-border mergers and acquisitions and private equity investments, Chan will leave Paul Weiss on July 31 to join online financial services provider Airwallex Pty. Ltd. as chief legal and compliance officer. Corporate counsel Corinna Yu will also join Airwallex, as an in-house lawyer.
