FTI Consulting announced towards the end of April that it had expanded its ongoing partnership with Relativity to bring the platform’s e-discovery solutions to India, part of an ongoing effort to facilitate consistent workflows for cross-border e-discovery in Asia, North America and Europe. Those overtures include the introduction of the FTI Investigate offering to the region, solutions that combine computer forensics experts and technology.

Still, there’s not much in the way of precedent to draw upon when it comes to prognosticating how high-end e-discovery offerings will fare in India. According to Amit Jaju, FTI Technology’s senior managing director in India, such platforms have largely not seen much use outside of matters relating to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act or the UK Border Agency.
