Lloyds Banking Group has announced that group general counsel Kate Cheetham will take on the role of group company secretary next year, as well as continuing in her role as GC. She will succeed Malcolm Wood, who announced he would be retiring after Lloyds’ annual general meeting in June 2019.

Cheetham has been at Lloyds since 2005 and has been GC since May 2015. She began her career as a corporate lawyer at Linklaters, before moving in-house at the bank.
