Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) has announced its first post-merger partner promotion round, with just three lawyers made up in its City office.

Legacy Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) London lawyer trio Rebecca Quayle, Alexandra Clough and Louisa Cobbe have been promoted within the 23-strong global round.

Quayle specialises in the aviation sector, while Cobbe focuses on corporate transactions and Clough on construction and engineering claims and disputes.

Legacy BLP promoted five City lawyers earlier this year after it brought forward the round ahead of its merger with legacy Bryan Cave, which went live in April.

The majority of the firm’s first promotions round as a merged entity have been made in the US, with 18 lawyers made up: two in Kansas City, four in St Louis, two in New York, two in Denver, one in Los Angeles, one in Dallas, two in Atlanta, two in San Fransisco, one in Phoenix and one in Chicago.

Outside of the US, Moscow-based finance and capital markets lawyer Tatiana Parshak from legacy BLP has also been made up, along with Abu Dhabi legacy BLP real estate lawyer Hazel Shakur Quinn.

The promotion round brings the number of partners firmwide to 576.
