Unless you have an intrinsic passion for loan relationships and derivatives contracts regulations and consider these your hobbies, it is not easy to cultivate your pastimes while working at a major corporate law firm. However, being a partner at Allen & Overy (A&O), my job has allowed me to participate in an extraordinary production of Carmen, produced thanks to the help of over 100 employees at the firm on Sunday 6 November 2011 at the Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London.
