It’s not enough for law firm lawyers to contemplate client goals and expectations. It certainly is not ideal for law firms to opine about the goals and expectations of in-house leaders without asking them. Yet we also know that general counsel are often exhausted by the number of times their law firms as about their goals and objectives. They point out–didn’t I spend hours discussing that with you only six months ago?! So we wanted to provide the in-house perspective on their goals and expectations–and we will keep this updated with each relevant conversation. These thoughts are extracted from discussions we have with our members of ALM Global Leaders in Law program (a membership group of general counsel and their teams from legal departments across the globe).
