Former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Schultz Newman was ordered to sit for a deposition in the First Judicial District’s legal malpractice lawsuit against a former lawyer on the Philadelphia family courthouse deal.

An out-of-county judge has also ordered the attorney-defendant in the lawsuit to provide more complete answers to five interrogatories, including a question about all communications between the attorney and Pennsylvania Chief Justice Ronald D. Castille and any other Philadelphia court officials in which a fee-splitting deal with the original courthouse developer was disclosed.
