The lawyer who advised the Harrisburg School District on its decision to fire three top administrators will have to defend himself against legal malpractice claims after the district was sued by its ex-administrators, a federal judge ruled.

U.S. District Judge William W. Caldwell of the Middle District of Pennsylvania also allowed claims of civil conspiracy to proceed against the lawyer and his firm in a 33-page opinion in Kohn v. School District of City of Harrisburg .
