Cozen O’Connor is looking to reopen a discontinued lawsuit filed against it by former Wolf Block lawyers, but a Philadelphia trial judge said there was nothing inconvenient or harassing to the firm that would warrant opening the case to rule on a motion he said the firm never needed to file.

The group of former Wolf Block partners in March 2011 filed a writ of summons against the firm and a number of former members of Wolf Block leadership who joined Cozen O’Connor shortly after Wolf Block voted to dissolve in March 2009. The plaintiffs continued the writ five times over several months and never filed a complaint detailing what their allegations were.
