The state Supreme Court has denied the appeal of a Luzerne County prothonotary who sued when the county decided to dissolve the elected office and create an appointed system for overseeing judicial records.
Prothonotary Carolee Medico Olenginski has been unsuccessful in her attempts to reinstate the office and the Supreme Court’s ruling Tuesday seems to officially end that quest.
