SAN FRANCISCO — The Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals today rejected the Winklevoss twins’ effort to undo a settlement that had ended scorched-earth litigation with archenemy Facebook.
Noting that the deal ConnectU founders Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss and Divya Narendra were seeking to reverse is far more valuable now than it was when they entered mediation, a three-judge panel found the settlement enforceable. And the court said the legal battle, which had played out on both coasts and involved numerous other parties, had to end at some point.
