Twenty-one complaints in two years. Less than one per month. That’s the number of sexual harassment or misconduct allegations reported to the regulatory authority that oversees lawyers in England and Wales between October 2015 and October 2017.

It’s not an impressive figure, especially considering an October survey by Legal Week, The American Lawyer’s U.K.-based sibling publication, that showed nearly two-thirds of respondents had been sexually harassed while at work.
