Clifford Chance said its hire of partners Arnaud Fromion, who led Goodwin’s Paris debt-financing department, and Frédéric Guilloux, strengthens its position on the European market.

Clifford Chance has picked up two banking and finance partners from Goodwin Procter to boost its ability to advise clients in the financial services sector, in particular on complex leveraged finance, restructuring and private credit transactions.
Arnaud Fromion represents banks, debt funds, financial sponsors and corporate borrowers in various types of bank financing and complex restructuring transactions. He brings experience in acquisition and corporate financing, fund finance and leveraged finance, Clifford Chance said.
