A raft of top domestic and international law firms have been engaged in Japanese memory chipmaker Kioxia Holdings Corporation’s $4.8 billion initial public offering (IPO) in Tokyo.
The company, which is jointly owned by Japanese manufacturer Hoya Corporation, Boston-based private equity group Bain Capital and electronics giant Toshiba, is the first to issue shares under new rules in Japan that allow dialogue between companies and investors before listing approval.
