Jones Day has been appointed to advise on the administration of U.K. retail chain The Body Shop while several firms have taken roles on a rescue deal, in transactions that coincide with data showing the U.K. entered a recession in late 2023.
The directors of the British skin care brand appointed FRP Advisory as administrators of its U.K. business this week. Jones Day is serving as legal counsel to FRP, according to a person with knowledge of the matter. The firm did not respond to requests for comment.
