A veteran trade partner from White & Case has left the firm to set up his own solo practice as shifting economic conditions continue to affect the trade law landscape.

Iain MacVay, who joined White & Case in 2020, began his career in the 90s as a diplomat in Canada before entering the ranks of private practice. He first made partner in London at Washington D.C.-headquartered Steptoe & Johnson where he remained for over a decade.
