Another US Firm to Pull Out of China, Akin Winds Down Beijing Office

Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld is winding down its business in Beijing and expects the firm to cease operations there in 2024.

“We are in the process of winding down operations in Beijing, China, where we have four lawyers, and anticipate that the wind down will occur in 2024,” a spokesperson for the firm told Law.com International via an email statement.
