Lawyers can play a key role in combating climate change, according to speakers at this year’s COP28 featuring lawyers from firms including Clifford Chance, CMS, Kirkland & Ellis and Linklaters.

The 10-day conference, which took place in Dubai and finished on Tuesday, featured a series of panel sessions where several high-profile lawyers spoke alongside Advocates for International Development (A4ID), a global charity that works in partnership with the world’s leading law firms to provide free legal advice for NGOs.
