A group of prominent solicitors and barristers in the U.K. have called on the government to “exert its influence to secure a ceasefire in Gaza and the West Bank”.

The open letter—addressed to the U.K. Prime Minister, Foreign Secretary, and Defence Secretary—has been signed by well-known King’s Counsel including Michael Mansfield KC, Sir Geoffrey Bindman KC, and Andrew Hall KC, the former chairman of the Criminal Bar Association of England and Wales.
