Herbert Smith Freehills’ joint operation firm in China, Shanghai-based Kewei Law Firm, has added technology, media and telecommunications expertise with the hire of corporate partner Justina Zhang.
Zhang joins from TransAsia Lawyers in Beijing, where she was most recently a senior partner. She is the firm’s first partner hire since intellectual property lawyer Peng Lei was brought on from Han Kun Law Offices in September 2021.
