PwC has successfully defended a £63 million claim at London’s High Court, in which it was alleged that the Big Four auditing giant leaked confidential information about its client, insurance group, Quindell, ahead of the sale of the latter’s legal services arm to Slater & Gordon.

The claim arose out of law firm Slater & Gordon’s 2015 purchase of the legal services arm of AIM listed insurance outsourcer company Quindell—now known as Watchstone—for £637 million.
