Spanish law firm ECIJA is leading 26 associations in an environmental collective action before the European Commission, arguing that the Kingdom of Spain has not complied with reuse and recycling targets mandated for 2020.

ECIJA is the only firm representing the associations in the action—a joint complaint to the Commission—with environment and sustainability partner Víctor Moralo leading the effort. The all-Spanish group of environmental associations includes Greenpeace, Ecologistas en Acción and Amigos de la Tierra o Retorna.
