Cooley has made triple managing partner appointments for its Greater China practice, marking the creation of office head positions for its Hong Kong and Beijing operations.
Corporate partner Michael Yu and investment funds partner Xun Zeng have been promoted to head the U.S. firm’s Hong Kong and Beijing offices, respectively. Concurrently, capital markets partner Yiming Liu has succeeded Christina Zhang, who led the Shanghai office since 2012, as office head, the firm said in a statement.
