King & Spalding and Galicia Abogados have advised HCM Acquisition Corp., a Nasdaq-listed special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), on its combination with a Mexican developer of resorts and industrial parks.
The business combination, valued at approximately $810 million, will give the developer, Murano Hospitality Group, access to U.S. capital markets to accelerate its growth. Proceeds from the transaction will fund construction costs and refinance indebtedness.
