The latest hire in Cozen O’Connor’s aggressive Canadian buildout is trial and appellate lawyer Oliver Hanson, who the firm announced Tuesday will lead its Canadian corporate and securities litigation practice.

Hanson, who moves from Hamilton Duncan, a 35-lawyer West Coast firm headquartered in a Vancouver suburb, will be based in Vancouver and focus on “the retention and growth of existing clients, as well as new business development, both in Vancouver and across Canada,” the firm said in a statement.
