The U.K. Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) has awarded damages of £17.5 million in actions brought by Royal Mail and BT against DAF Trucks, in the latest installment of the long-running, pan-European trucks cartel scandal.

Royal Mail and BT had claimed they were overcharged with increased prices and lease payments by DAF. The duo were advised by Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, while Dutch trucks manufacturer DAF turned to Travers Smith, according to the judgment.
