Among the four new partners at Spanish firm Pérez-Llorca named earlier this month, two are women whose practices focus on the male-dominated area of corporate law.

The appointments were part of Pérez-Llorca’s “Women in Corporate” program, which was designed to promote equality between men and women and increase the number of women partners in the corporate law practice, where “traditionally, on a sector-wide basis, there are fewer women partners,” said Constanza Vergara, a partner and corporate director at Pérez-Llorca who has been involved in the project since its inception.
