Hogan Lovells hired a familiar face from The Walt Disney Co., bringing back Rafael Ribeiro to its Miami office after he left to serve as assistant general counsel at the global media conglomerate in 2021.

On his return, Ribeiro will serve as a partner focused on investigations and disputes along with a role in the firm’s sports, media and entertainment industry sector. His arrival comes as Latin American clients increasingly seek assistance complying with new anti-corruption measures sweeping through Latin America, Ribeiro’s specialty.
