Ashurst Launches in Korea Via Joint Venture

Ashurst is set to enter into a joint venture with Korean law firm HwaHyun, becoming the first foreign law firm permitted to practice Korean law since Korea opened its legal market in 2011.

The JV was approved by the Korean Ministry of Justice on Nov. 29 this year, the firm said in a statement.
