Two key figures in the international response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine discussed the viability of pursuing civil damages for Ukrainian citizens using Russian assets before an audience of lawyers attending the 2022 International Bar Association conference.
Dr. Beth Van Schaack, who is U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for Global Criminal Justice, addressed attendees with Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin, who appeared via video link.
