Clifford Chance is close to agreeing a new U.K. headquarters in Central London, leaving behind its longstanding office premises in Canary Wharf.
The firm, whose Canary Wharf lease expires in 2028, has put in an offer on 2 Aldermanbury Square, just off London Wall, according to people with knowledge of the matter.
One person said the firm had been “very closely linked” to the location for a while. And in a statement, the firm said it is in “advanced negotiations.”
