Dechert and its former head of white collar practice, Neil Gerrard, are facing fresh civil allegations, including obstruction of justice, witness tampering, wire and mail fraud, bank fraud, and money laundering, in a lawsuit filed in New York federal court alleging $100 million in damages.

According to the 87-page filing on Thursday, aviation tycoon Farhad Azima and his co-plaintiffs accuse Dechert and Gerrard of criminal conduct, including “obstruction of justice, witness tampering, wire and mail fraud, bank fraud and money laundering,” under the Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.
