Baker McKenzie is likely set for a new office space at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) after its acrimonious split in the UAE last week from local partner, Habib Al Mulla & Partners, over his Twitter comments hostile to same-sex relationships.
The firm currently has two offices in the UAE. One in Dubai’s Business Bay, which houses the iconic Burj Khalifa Tower, as well as at Al Maryah Island, the home of the capital’s international financial centre, Abu Dhabi Global Market.
