U.S.-headquartered firms Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and Covington & Burling have all raised pay for newly-qualified lawyers in London in the last week.

Gibson Dunn is the latest firm to up its recently qualified associates salaries. Its NQs will now take home £161,700, a raise of 11% from the previous £145,000 pay. The figure places Gibson Dunn NQ’s as the highest paid in the City.
