Armando Ambrosio is resident partner in the Moscow office of De Berti Jacchia Franchini Forlani Studio Legale, a Milan-based international business law firm. Educated in Italy, he has practiced in London, Luxembourg, New York (at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett) and Moscow, in addition to Italy. He divides his time between the firm’s Italian offices and Moscow, where he directs a 10-person team providing legal, tax and consulting services to Italian and Russian clients.
Ambrosio spoke to Law.com International on Friday, the day Russian troops entered the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv, about the outlook for business in Russia under new sanctions from the West, as well as the atmosphere on the ground in Moscow.
