Kirkland & Ellis Hong Kong partner Li-Chien Wong is leaving the firm to join the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Market (HKEX) as managing director and co-head of initial public offering (IPO) vetting, effective March 15, 2022.
In her new role, Wong will oversee all issuer listing applications. She will be working closely with fellow co-head of the function, Stephanie Lau, who has been with HKEX for over five years and is also a former Kirkland partner.
