More than 20 national and regional Canadian law firms have sent an open letter calling on the federal government to uphold its commitment to resettle refugees from Afghanistan in Canada—especially members of the Afghan legal community who continue to face the threat of retaliation by the Taliban.
“We must do more,” they wrote in the letter.
