Hengeler Mueller, Slaughter and May and Hogan Lovells have helped Meta (formerly Facebook Inc) clear a major regulatory hurdle in Germany, as the company finalises its near-$1 billion acquisition of customer service platform Kustomer.
German heavyweight Hengeler successfully advised Meta on the merger investigation by the German Federal Cartel Office (Bundeskartellamt), which had cited antitrust concerns. The deal was last month cleared by the European Commission.
