Dentons has promoted Colombia-based partner Paloma Gomez to the role of chief executive officer for Latin America and the Caribbean, putting a woman in charge for the first time of a region that the global firm entered in 2016.
Dentons has charted an aggressive expansion across Latin America and the Caribbean, having opened offices in 28 countries in the span of six years. Much of that penetration has involved combinations with established local law firms.
