Singapore Passes Law to Allow 'No Win No Fee' Arrangements

Singapore has passed a law that allows, for the first time in the nation’s history, lawyers and their clients to enter into conditional fee agreements (CFAs) in certain proceedings.

The arrangement, also known colloquially as ‘no win, no fee’, enables lawyers and their clients to agree that lawyers are paid all or part of their fees only when a claim is successful.
