On November 2, Law.com International hosted a webinar to discuss the Asia Pacific legal markets.  Executive editor Lisa Shuchman, Australia correspondent Chris Niesche and I chatted with Baker McKenzie APAC chair Michael Wong and Herbert Smith Freehills chair and senior partner Rebecca Maslen-Stannage about the latest Global 200 report, what went on in the legal industry in 2020, how that impacted 2021 and the challenges on the horizon.

Michael made one point during the webinar that was particularly interesting and perhaps most relevant to firms that have large Hong Kong operations. It concerned the amount of money law firms spend on real estate.
