Clifford Chance has become the latest major U.K. law firm to increase salaries for its most junior associates in London, boosting newly-qualified pay to the rate set by its Magic Circle peers earlier in Autumn.

The firm is set to pay its newly qualified associates in the city £107,500 from the start of 2022, according to the firm’s website on Friday. The new salary, which marks an increase from the previous base salary of £100,000, puts Clifford Chance on a par with U.K. rivals Allen & Overy and Linklaters.
