In my inaugural Asia Legal Briefing a couple of weeks back, I looked at head count numbers at law firms in Asia and talked about the downsizing of international firms and the growth of indigenous firms in the region. Now it’s time to take a look at revenue.

Twenty Asia-Pacific firms made it onto this year’s Global 200. Last year, it turns out, proved to be one of significant growth in spite of the COVID-19 pandemic. These 20 firms—11 Chinese, six Australian and three South Korean—marked a 10% increase in revenue, amounting to more than $12 billion.
