Morrison & Foerster is the latest law firm to increase salaries for its newly-qualified London lawyers, as firms across the world battle for talent.

Coming into effect retroactively from October 1, NQ lawyers at the firm will see a pay rise of more than £29,000 from £118,000 to more than £147,000 ($202,500) – a near-25% uplift, a spokesperson at the firm said on Monday. The decision follows a review that took place over summer, the person added.
