India’s largest law firms have been inundated by a massive wave of domestic initial public offerings.

So far, 41 Indian companies have raised about US$9 billion this year, almost three times the US$3.5 billion raised by 15 companies in all of last year. With over 60 more filed listing applications in the pipeline, the country is poised to surpass its biggest IPO year in 2017, when over 35 companies raised about US$11.8 billion.
