As autumn approaches and the legal industry begins its tramp back into offices, more change is being ushered in at Slaughter and May, as the prestigious U.K. firm prepares to hold elections for its new managing partner role.

In June, the firm unveiled a radical shift in its leadership team, scrapping its executive partner and practice partner roles, in favour of a duo of new positions: a managing partner and a possible non-lawyer chief operating officer.
