A year after she departed Davis Polk & Wardwell to run Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s new Silicon Valley office, Sarah Solum has been named to lead the law firm’s U.S. offices.
Solum, who has already doubled the size of the firm’s Silicon Valley office, was named U.S. regional managing partner of the international law firm Monday. She succeeds Matthew Herman in the role.
